Lori, the Owner of Pretty Branch has a flair for the dramatic & draws on her background in dance when working with couples to bring out their love on camera. She has been called a "posting master". As a past Director of User Experience at app companies, Lori now ensures that all #Prettybranchlovebirds are treated to a top-tier customer experience. She'll help with engagement shoot location ideas, outfit inspo & wedding day timelines. Lori has shot over 130 weddings around California since 2017. Photography & Video Under The Same Roof
We are a rare wedding photo + video duo. It's hard to find two companies that's coloring, vibe & editing style match, so we brought both in-house. With one photographer and one videographer, you two are able to enjoy your wedding day without a whole paparazzi of people buzzing around you. Having the Pretty Branch photo video duo around is like being on a double date.
Documentary / Prompts
We get involved only when necessary. We capture your special day, and your love in a natural way without getting in the way. We will quickly pose & prompt you two along with your bridal party and family without it feeling like a job. All of the photos and videos you have seen featured on our site are real-life couples. We guarantee that we can show off your love in the same beautiful way.
Color & Style
We have been told our color style is CRISP, CLEAN, WARM, BRIGHT, COLORFUL, DRAMATIC, SEXY + ROMANTIC. Just to name a few. We have a passion for the entire rainbow. I mean how can you choose! We pride ourselves on showing off the colors you two spent time & thought selecting. From your wedding floral palate to your wedding party's attire, we want your photos and video to match. Our background in film development and coloring gives you the expert benefit that can only come from the same color expert editing both your photos and video.
When to book?
When you know your wedding venue or have an idea of your general wedding date. It is best to book ASAP. Our calendar fills up sometimes two years in advance. As soon as you know your wedding date, it is a good time to book your photographer. Most couples book their wedding photographer about a year plus prior to their wedding day. It is usually one of the first things a couple will book. If you book your wedding today, you can schedule your engagement shoot right away to get those "Save The Date" cards sent out ASAP.
Payment Structure
50% deposit upfront when booking to hold the date. Balance is due 3 months prior to the wedding date.
Business Liability Insurance
We sure do have business liability insurance. If you require proof, just ask & we will provide the necessary documentation.
Do We Get All of Our Photos?
Definitely! The only photos that we don’t send to you are the blinking, drooling, double chin craziness that you don’t even want to see haha. As a minimum, we typically deliver about 70+ photos per hour of coverage.
Do We Get RAW Photos/Video?
We do not send you any RAW, unedited, video or images since half of the process/magic is in the editing. A LOT of hours and days go into each image and video. Without that, the photos & video don’t represent us or our work. We promise to never leave out any photos that you’ll want/need!
